Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26 1991) often referred to by her stage name Ari Lennox is an American music producer and performer from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be associated with J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. On October 21, 2016 she dropped Pho, her debut EP for the label Dreamville Records. This was when she began to gain recognition. Shea Butter Baby, her first studio album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox posted her debut tracks online in 2012. She dropped five singles in 2013 and Five Finger Discount in 2013 and Ariography EP in 2013. In 2014, she released further music online including Bound. Her music was also featured on Omen's Elephant Eyes which was released from Sweat It Out, on the 21st of July, 2015. J. Cole asked her to work with him on Rihanna's music references.
